Brian and Debbie David
Debbie and Brian have been flying kites for about 25 years and building them for about 9 years. They spend a portion of their time going to and helping out at kite events here in Washington. As an event coordinator for the Foster Grandparents fun fly at the Washington State International Kite Festival in Long Beach WA, they sew along with other kite makers, in preparing and appliqueing the 200 kites that are given out to kids. They supply the kite kits for Long Beaches event, that will be sewn for the following year. They cut materials and help the children with kids kite making, including the Ocean Shores WA and Grayland WA festivals and Brownsville Days. In 2022 Brian was an instructor at both the OKR and Fort Worden kite making events.
Brian and Debbie enjoy spending time at the kite events meeting new flyers and sharing their passion for kites.
