Jon Trennepohl

Jon Trennepohl is the owner of Kites and Fun Things and Sky Burner Kites since 1988. He has been producing and designing American made kites for 25 years. He developed and designed the use of tapered tubes in sport kites, starting with G Force tubes, and went on to own Sky Shark Tubes. Jon is also a designer of sport kites for Premier Kites and Designs and beginning project manager for their RC program. Jon also developed the Fulcrum kite with designer Carl Robertshaw.

Jon has competed in sport kite competition both individually, pairs and team events both locally and nationally since 1989. He has traveled all over the world to attend and participate in Kite Festivals, doing workshops for children and entertaining the public audience. He has been to Japan, Colombia, Italy, France, England, Malaysia, Denmark, Jamaica, Canada and China.
