We are ready to bring the SaskPower Windscape Kite Festival and Long Day's Night Music Festival back in 2022 and look forward to sharing the prairie skies again with all of you on June 16th to 19th, 2022.
Kinetic Wind Sculpture Garden
Come and take a walk through a unique garden “made by the wind”. The Kinetic Wind Sculpture Garden showcases interpretive handmade works by local artists who use their imagination to create prairie wind sculptures. Everyone is invited to view this breezy installation under the big prairie sky. The garden is situated north of the activity tents in the open field.
Prayer flags flap with gusto while unique silverware mobiles clink and twirl in the wind. Motion and sound combine to make colourful and creative art pieces come alive. From dancing whirligigs to sparkling glass mosaics, it’s a gazer’s paradise. Feel, hear and see how art interacts with the wind in this one of a kind exhibit. Plant some seeds in your own imagination and you can come back and add to next year’s garden!
