Lisa Willoughby
Lisa Willoughby is an international sport kite flier and champion of dual line, quad line, indoor performance kiting, street flying, fighter kites, and Rokakku kites. Lisa has performed on Broadway and around the world with Ibex Puppetry as an indoor kite specialist and puppeteer. She has flown indoor kites, street and water kite flying for Kiteman productions, and has been an indoor kiting specialist for Aerial Experience and GuildWorks: Architecture of the Air. Lisa has had the opportunity to perform at large international events around the world. Some of the events include: the Kentucky Ryder Cup opening ceremonies, Tribeca Film festival in Doha, Indoor performance in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Ice Festival in Quebec, Canada, Indoor performance for the Royal family at the Kuwait International kite festival, nationally televised International Puppetry Extravaganza in Chengdu, China, and nationally televised kite show in Vung Tau, Vietnam. Lisa flew indoor in one of the oldest temples in Vietnam for the discovery and presentation of what is thought to be the oldest kite. This event was nationally televised with attendance by the president of Vietnam. In addition to performing, she has choreographed and produced three indoor shows for Dieppe Kite festival in Canada, as well as an indoor show for the opening ceremonies of the Maccabee Games in Philadelphia.
