The Windscape and Long Day's Night teams have made the difficult decision to cancel our 2021 events.
We know large events like ours bring so many wonderful things to Saskatchewan. They strengthen the fabric of our communities, provide volunteer opportunities, and bring people from all cultures and backgrounds together.
We are ready to bring the SaskPower Windscape Kite Festival and Long Day's Night Music Festival back in 2022 and look forward to sharing the prairie skies again with all of you on June 16th to 19th, 2022.
Please follow our socials to stay tuned on some fun family activities we will be providing to the local southwest communities instead.
The Windscape Team
Paul has been building and flying kites over the past 20 years. His handcrafted kites have received awards at the Smithsonian Kite Festival and the American Kitefliers Association nationals.
He enjoys creating and flying kites, giving presentations, and teaching kite making with adults and kids who delight in the magic of building and flying their own creations. He is a past chair of the AKA’s Kite Art Committee and a former regional director of that organization. He hangs out with members of Midwest area kite clubs, including his home state club, the Wisconsin Kiters.
